Biblical Children’s Wall Art
Drawn By Kids: Fun & Inspirational

The children’s wall art you choose to decorate your kids’ rooms can provide not only a bright, fun look, but biblical inspiration as well. Using children’s wall art that depicts Bible stories and includes Scriptures is a great way to inspire your kids on a daily basis.

Your kids can be surrounded by whimsically illustrated Bible stories every day. If each picture includes the corresponding Scripture, kids will have repeated exposure to Bible verses. They’ll probably even memorize them with very little effort. The repetition of seeing it regularly, plus the visual reinforcement of the art will make it easy! It may even inspire them to express their own faith through art.

Children’s wall art based on Bible stories can enhance a current decorating theme or spark a new one. Here are some ideas about using wall art for children’s rooms.

A great place to start is the printable art in the Kids Talk About God Online Art Gallery. It has dozens of illustrations that depict Bible verses, all drawn by children. Find your child’s favorite Bible story and build a decorating theme around that. For example, kids love the stories about creation, Noah’s ark and Jonah.

If your child likes animals, you could easily build a decorating theme around that. The Kids Talk About God Online Art Gallery has a number of Bible art prints depicting animals. Besides creation themes, Noah’s ark and Jonah, there’s Daniel in the lions’ den and the wise men on camels.

This gallery also has plenty to offer for an aquatic theme. You could select pictures about Noah’s ark, Baby Moses floating on the Nile and grown-up Moses parting the Red Sea.

There are also quite a few choices that would lend themselves to themes such as angels, children (Jesus feeding the 5000 with a boy’s lunch, Jesus blessing the children, etc.), crosses, and royalty (King Solomon, Queen Esther).

Once you’ve made your choices, print and frame them. You can print as many as you like for free. Because it’s so economical, you can change the pictures as often as you like. Once your children have memorized the scriptures of one set of pictures, put new ones in the frames. You can even change them to all Christmas-related pictures at the appropriate time of year.

Can’t decide? Print all the pictures in the 4”x6” size on heavy paper. Line them up, storyboard style. Use a little wallpaper paste and put them up as a border along the walls.
